Cleanout On Aisle Four

I'm back in the surgical waiting room. Cathy was taken into the OR about 10 minutes ago. The procedure is called a 'cleanout'. Sounds like something a plumber does. I was told it should be about 2 hours. The surgeon said that by this time the bleeder should be obvious. Most of the bleeding should be clotted over. They are going back in through the same spot they went through to give her the lung.

Hang in there David. It sounds like the surgeon will get control over the situation and stop the bleeding.

Waiting...that has been the name of the game from day one hasn't it? Waiting for the "call", waiting for the new lung to arrive, waiting for the news from the surgeons...now here it is again...waiting. I can't imagine having to do it without the hope of knowing that God is still in control and He is more than capable of doing all that we ask and more. Keep focus on that!

Love to all,
