Last Weekend?

The tube feedings have been DC'd. Cathy is now taking in all nutrition through her meals and protein drink snacks.

Cathy walked a complete lap around the unit, on room air, on two occasions today.

Our hope is for Cathy to be discharged from the hospital and go home on Monday. Unfortunately, the bug at home is spreading to new victims. She has been here for 174 days, a few more days, if needed, should be a cake walk. Speaking of cake walks, Cathy has been given patio privileges. Sometime this weekend Cathy is going to have a chance to breathe some fresh air. The extra time here will give the teams more time to work on some of the 'issues' Cathy is still dealing with.

Unbelievable...you can almost reach out and pick up that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

I am praying hard for healing at home and that the house will be germ-free too! (Sorry that you're sick girls...and perhaps little Miles too!) Knowing you CJ, you'll take this opportunity to thank everyone at the hospital with whom you've built relationships with over the last 6 months. You are always thinking of other people!

I hope that you are reveling in all these successes! Go ahead and pinch yourself...it's really happening!

I love you SO much!

I hope the "bug" leaves quickly so you can return to a healthy household. In the meantime, resolve all those "issues" so you can have a relaxed home coming.

Bonnie does know you Cathy, I can hear you thanking everyone and saying goodbye to all the new friends you acquired during those 174 days.

We are having a snowstorm, it will be a white cold Christmas in MN.
